We advise our Drivers take the following precautions when fulfilUK traffic light system for travel: which countries are on the green list
PLEASE NOTE: This information is correct as of 9pm on 16 July and applies to changes from 4am on 19 July.
The latest update on the traffic light system for travel has been announced with Bulgaria and Hong Kong now on the green list, and Croatia and Taiwan on the green watchlist. The British Virgin Islands and the Balearic islands have both moved from green to amber. Cuba, Sierra Leone, Indonesia and Myanmar are now all on the red list.
The list of green list countries are countries where travellers will not have to quarantine on their return. However, in reality, not all of them are currently open to UK travellers.
As of 19 July, anyone who is fully vaccinated will not have to quarantine when returning to the UK from a country on the amber list. The exception will be France.
For the ones you can visit, you will still need to adhere to testing requirements, so make sure you know what the traffic light system means and what you will need to do before travelling in and out of the country. And don't forget that just because a country is on the UK's green list, it doesn't mean the UK is on theirs. Make sure you keep up to date with the latest travel restrictions in place for the country you are planning to visit
